Classes
And workshops!

Clown is an unique art. There are few other forms of entertainment where the performer and audience can intimately interact with each other. Not only do they interact, but the audience can effect the show itself as they become part of the performance, driving the action forward.
Clowning builds on a large foundation of principles:
-
Creating rapport with others
-
Becoming comfortable with failure
-
Finding a personal state of play
-
Unique problem solving
-
And much more!
These principles are invaluable to performers as they pursue any art-form, but are useful to anyone who wants to move through life with a stronger connection to others, as well as a bit more levity.
Clowning is also very personal and individualized art with many different avenues to access the art. These classes are designed to provide people with the tools to start clowning or add in new techniques to their existing approach. Danny's classes focus on your deepening your connection with your breath/body, building relationships with the crowd or stage partners, expanding your comfort zone, and learning how to capture the essence of play.
Current Classes:
Beginning Clown - TBD 2027
Intermediate Clown and Act Creation - TBD 2027
Danny also teaches workshops that specialize in certain aspects of his approach to clowning. Workshops can be customized to fit your needs and can focus on whatever you want. Workshops can run for either one or two sessions. One session workshops introduces and explores the concepts, and two session workshops add an additional day where students can put techniques into practice a bit more.
