Pre-Post-Mortem is a solo clown show featuring Charon, the Boatman of the River Styx and a run down blue collar worker. His day of ferrying souls is disrupted when a tour group arrives to the banks of the river. Forced by the Gods to be a tour guide of the afterlife with no additional pay, Charon tries his best to educate mortals on the afterlife, but finds the differences between gods and humanity tough to overcome. As the show progresses, he connects more and more with the audience as it becomes clear that they have similar struggles with family expectations, career growth, making art, and being true to one's self. In the end, the tour becomes an after thought because it doesn't matter much what happens after, what happens now might be more important.
The show started development in summer of 2025, had one preview test run, and is continuing to be refined for a full future run.
